It's a Powerball Christmas for the holder of a winning $125 million lottery ticket.
The winning Powerball ticket was sold in Maryland, but Georgia lottery players can still hope to lay claim to the $206 Mega Millions lottery. The next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday. A single winner of that lottery would win $152 million if taking the cash option.
The winning Powerball numbers drawn Saturday were 14-16-30-51-52 (19).
Tickets that match the first five numbers, but miss the Powerball, win $200,000 each, and there were seven of those. They were sold in: Georgia(1), Iowa(1), Kentucky(1), Massachusetts(1), New Jersey(1), South Carolina(1) and Tennessee(1).
