Windsor parkway reopens in Sandy Springs
Drivers in Sandy Springs can cross a detour off their list
City spokeswoman Sharon Kraun said crews finished repairs ahead of schedule and a section of Windsor Parkway near Jolyn Place was reopened Saturday afternoon.
The road had been closed since Jan. 15 due to structural integrity issues related to a storm water detention construction project at the Windsor-Jolyn intersection. Those issues caused a section of road to cave in.
There had been estimates the road could be closed until mid-April while a city-hired contractor did emergency repairs.
