Who helped the homeless? Nominations for award due

The deadline to submit nominations for the 18th annual Jack Vaughan, Jr. human services award for those who helped the homeless, or nearly homeless, is next Friday.

The Cobb Community Collaborative says the awards luncheon will be Nov. 3 at the Mansour Center, 995 Roswell St NE , Marietta, with Jack Hardin of the Regional Commission on Homelessness speaking and emceeing by Condace Pressley of AM 750 and now 95.5FM News/Talk WSB.
