Drop everything and head to Lawrenceville, "Pokémon Go" users: Pikachu has been spotted in Gwinnett County.

Georgia Gwinnett College posted the proof to its official Facebook page Tuesday morning:

For the unfamiliar: "Pokémon Go" is a smartphone game that harkens back to a 1990s craze and has quite literally taken the world by storm. It uses the GPS and clock on players' phones to detect where and when they're in the game and make Pokémon appear around them (on their screens). The game encourages users to travel around the real world to catch Pokémon, which are fictional animals that can be trained and fought.

The fact that Pikachu — the lovable yellow face of the entire franchise, and purportedly a hard Pokémon to track down — was on GGC's campus this week doesn't necessarily mean he's still there, of course. But there's another tool that may make Gwinnettians' gameplay a little easier, too.

Reddit users have compiled a user-friendly Google map of about 200 Pokestops at gyms, offices and businesses across metro Atlanta. That includes many locations in Gwinnett and, though it's pretty obvious not every Pokestop and gym is included, it's a pretty good starting point for enterprising players — houses of worship, parks and actual gyms seem to be popular locations in the county.
