The Westin Peachtree Plaza will celebrate the replacement of 6,350 windows Tuesday with a party at the iconic downtown hotel.

Officials with the building will hold a ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. to celebrate the completion of the project, which was necessitated by the March 2008 tornado that damaged many of the hotel's windows.

The Westin also will celebrate new meeting space it is adding by moving into 200 Peachtree, the new name for the old Macy's building next door.
