The weather will be just about perfect for an outdoor concert on Saturday, and metro Atlanta music lovers will have several to choose from.

The “Party in the Park,” with headliners the Flaming Lips, begins at 3 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Olympic Park and continues into the evening, while south of town, the Wolf Creek Amphitheater near College Park will be hosting the Funk Fest, a two-day festival that begins Friday night and features R&B acts such as the New Edition, Doug E. Fresh and Erykah Badu.

Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood will be hosting the second of two sold out Jason Aldean concerts on Saturday night. The first concert is Friday night.

Meanwhile, Steve Winwood will be rocking the Chastain Park Ampthitheatre Saturday night.

Channel 2 Action News chief meteorologist Glenn Burns is forecasting sunny skies for Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the mid-80s and lows around 60 degrees. There is a 20 percent chance of rain each day, he said.

A few road construction projects planned this weekend could cause some congestion on metro interstates.

In south Fulton County, the two left lanes of I-285 southbound near Washington Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Saturday.

In northeast Atlanta, traffic will be paced, or stopped, on I-85 in both directions between Ga. 400 and the Brookwood interchange several times on Sunday morning for utility line work. Traffic pacing is also planned on Ga. 400 in both directions between I-85 and Lenox Road between 8 a.m. and noon on Sunday.
