Norcross has partnered with Accela Legislative Management to manage public meetings and streamline legislative management processes. The city will leverage Accela Agenda and Minutes to automate the preparation of meeting agendas and all related materials distribution. In addition, Accela Civic Streaming will allow the city to offer citizens on-demand, high-definition video streaming and online viewing of public meetings, making it easy for residents to search for recent, historic or corresponding meeting videos and materials online.

“The City of Norcross is pleased to offer this new tool to our citizens that will allow for greater transparency and efficiency,” said Norcross City Manager Rudolph Smith.

The first public meeting that will be available for online viewing will be the policy work session at 6:30 p.m. Oct.17. Access is available through the city’s Citizen Web Portal at www.norcrossga.com and via Apple products through the Norcross-branded Accela mobile app, WeGovern, available in the iTunes Store.
