The management of Allatoona Lake in Cobb, Cherokee and Bartow counties announced immediate openings for couples to live and work as volunteer park hosts at three sites.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking volunteers for this summer at the Old Highway 41 No. 3 Campground, Tanyard Creek Day Use Area, and Victoria Day Use area. The corps said it is taking steps to limit the exposure of volunteers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Interested persons can contact the Allatoona Project Management Office, 678-721-6700, and ask for the ranger in charge of park hosts. Information: https://bit.ly/3618uhU
