Alphonso Ogbuehi, dean of the school of business at Clayton State University, will lead the 2012-2013 fundraising effort for the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta in Clayton County.
Ogbuehi worked with others on the United Way's Campaign Cabinet to raise money to fund work in the organization's focus areas of education, health, income and homelessness.
The United Way funds several programs in Clayton including the board of health's hypertension and diabetes clinic, which helps the underinsured and uninsured.
