UGA landscape fellow to assist Holly Springs

The Holly Springs Main Street Program has enlisted a landscape architecture graduate student from the University of Georgia to help with municipal improvement projects this summer as a Downtown Renaissance Fellow.
Arianne Wolfe was selected from a competitive group of applicants for the 12-week fellowship.
Wolfe will work with Main Street Director Erin Honea to develop corridor enhancements along Holly Springs Parkway, including proposed plantings; recommend façade and parking improvements for selected downtown businesses; and create concept designs for wayfinding signage throughout the Main Street District, officials said.
Renderings sketched by Wolfe will be available for viewing at the end of the summer.
The fellowship is a partnership of the university, its Carl Vinson Institute of Government and College of Environmental Design, and the Georgia Municipal Association. Holly Springs is participating in the fifth annual fellowship program, which is supported by GMA and the Georgia Cities Foundation.
