Two separate crashes blocks apart knocked down street poles on busy streets in Midtown.
An accident involving multiple cars may have been caused by street racing. The accident took out a line of three street lights.
Witnesses say the white Chevy Camaro came over the 17th St. bridge toward Atlantic Station at a high rate of speed, and lost control.
The Camaro hit three light posts on the road's median.
Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach saw a line of Chevy Camaros at the scene. A witness told police the Camaros were racing each other.
A couple hours later, witnesses say the driver of a Range Rover may have been drunk when it crashed into a tree and street light near 17th St. and Peachtree St.
No one was injured in the single car accident.
