Two public meetings will be held Wednesday for feedback on how Fulton County should spend 2013 federal Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships and Emergency Shelter Grant funds. One is at 1 p.m. at the Mechanicsville Library, 400 Formwalt St., Atlanta, and the other is at 6 p.m. at the South Fulton Service Center, 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park.

The county usually gets about $3 million per year, mainly intended to improve living conditions of low- and moderate-income residents. A comment period is required by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The deadline for comments is Sept. 14, and they can be emailed to Lolita.Collins@fultoncountyga.gov.
