Today’s your last chance to shop at two Lawrenceville Ingles locations.
The grocery stores at 1154 Lawrenceville Highway and 1050 Grayson Highway are set to shut their doors for good after 7 p.m. April 26, according to managers at both stores. Employees at both stores have been offered jobs at nearby locations, chief financial officer Ron Freeman said.
“This was an unpleasant business decision we had to make,” Freeman said in an email.
The North Carolina-based grocery store chain has six other locations in and immediately surrounding Gwinnett County that will remain open:
• 650 Rockbridge Road, Lilburn
• 5075 Peachtree Pkwy., Peachtree Corners
• 1221 Dacula Road, Dacula
• 4555 Atlanta Highway, Loganville
• 4815 Rockbridge Road, Stone Mountain
• 1528 Atlanta Highway, Auburn
Items at the store are not expected to be put on clearance sale, but moved to nearby stores, managers said.
