Two Emory University scientists are leading science lab activities in Atlanta elementary schools. Candice Elam, a postdoctoral fellow in biology, is working with Whitefoord Elementary, and Brandy Wade a doctorate candidate in human genetics, is leading the East Lake Elementary science lab. Both are working with grades third through fifth. The scientists are paid through stipends from the Zeist Foundation. Information: www.atlanta.k12.ga.us.
