The Atlanta school board Monday voted not to renew the charter of University Community Academy for a third five-year term. The current five-year term expires on June 30. The district expressed concerns about lagging test scores and declining enrollment. In 2009, the school had 420 students, and now it has 320. The same night, the board voted to renew the charter for Wesley International Academy for a one-year term. The current five-year term expires on June 30. Information: www.atlanta.k12.ga.us
