Tucker awards contract for street construction project

Tucker’s Mayor and City Council approved a bid award for a project that will see reconstruction of curb radii at eight intersections in the city at its April 27 regular business meeting.

The contract went to TriScapes at a cost of $108,095. The reconstruction will take place mostly on streets in the Tucker Summit Community Improvement District where there is heavy truck traffic.

Main Street: Chamblee Tucker Road; Side Street: Fellowship Road

Main Street: Lewis Road; Side Street: Litton Drive

Main Street: East Ponce de Leon Avenue; Side Street: Litton Drive

Main Street: Idlewood Road; Side Street: Sarr Parkway

Main Street: Tucker Industrial Boulevard; Side Street: Elmdale Drive
