State Sen. Brandon Beach, R-Alpharetta, will hold a town hall meeting on transportation issues in Cherokee County from 6-8 p.m. June 18 at the Cherokee County Administration Building, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton.
Beach said the town hall will focus on the status of the county’s transportation infrastructure, as well as what the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Georgia General Assembly are doing to address the county’s needs.
Beach said he’ll be joined by Russell McMurry, GDOT commissioner, as well as two GDOT board members. Officials said information on current and pending projects will be shared, and that there will be a discussion about prioritizing future needs.
