Transformer fire closes Abbotts Bridge Road in Johns Creek

Abbotts Bridge Road west of Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek is closed because of a damaged power pole. Officials said a fire was sparked when a transformer blew earlier Friday morning. City officials estimate the road will reopen at 2 p.m.
