Trail enthusiasts advocate Silver Comet Trail’s completion

There is a three mile stretch of the Silver Comet Trail that remains incomplete — and on Saturday, about 20 people gathered for a guided walk along the unfinished path. The event highlighted the Civil War history of the land, but its main purpose was to raise awareness and advocate for the completion of the trail.
