Three teenagers were arrested in Dunwoody Tuesday and face charges in connection with an alleged attempted burglary that police interrupted on E. Kings Point Circle.

Dunwoody police responded to the Dunwoody North Subdivision after receiving reports of  a suspicious vehicle occupied by a man that was seen driving throughout the subdivision. A witness was able to provide a tag number for a silver 2006 Audi A4, according to police.

The car was spotted and stopped by police. The driver, Corey Freeman, 17, of Decatur, was detained, police said.

Police said the teen had been waiting on two other youths -- Dondre McDade, 17, of Conley, and Emmanuel Lett, 17, of Lithonia -- who were burglarizing a nearby residence.

Police said the teens had lined up two flat-screen TVs, four long guns and a laptop near the entrance or exit of the residence.  All three teens were questioned at Dunwoody police headquarters.  They were then taken to the DeKalb County Jail.
