On the first weekend in November, wine drinkers and folks looking for a good time should head to Roswell.

There, you’ll find the Third Annual Grandiose Grape Wine Festival, which is happening Saturday, Nov. 3 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Mill Kitchen & Bar, located at 590 Mimosa Blvd.

The festival will feature more than 90 wines from more than 30 wineries, so come prepared to drink up and have a designated driver on standby.

In addition to the vino, the festival will also offer food pairings from executive chef Flynn McClanahan, a protege of Emeril Lagasse — you know him as the guy who yells “Bam!” when he’s throwing spices around on various cooking shows on television.

The festival will also feature live musical performances.

“It’s an amazing event full of everyone’s favorite things: great wine, food and music,” Chloe Davey, the general manager of Mill Kitchen & Bar, said in a statement. “We are also proud to be able to leverage this event as an opportunity to give back the community.”

Tickets for the festival are on sale now and range in price from $45 to $110. VIP tickets include an expanded food menu, a T-shirt, a wine glass and a $25 gift certificate to the Mill Kitchen & Bar.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031.
