Everyone is a fan of beer and barbecue, right?

OK, maybe not everyone, but enough folks in north Fulton County are to bring the “Brew & BBQ for CdLS” event back for its ninth year.

The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 10 at Currahee Brewing Company on 25 South Main Street in Alpharetta. Tickets are on sale now for just $30.

A ticket to the event, which lasts from 5 to 8:30 p.m., gets you plenty of barbecue and two beer tickets. Live music will also be played, and there will also be a silent auction and a cash bar.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome foundation, a family support organization that exists to ensure early and accurate diagnosis of CdLS and promotes research into what causes the syndrome. CdLS is a genetic disorder present at birth that can cause physical, cognitive and medical challenges.

Currahee Brewing is based in North Carolina, but opened its location in Alpharetta this past May.
