Bob Pettignan wants something done about a situation that he says has been causing a hazard for quite some time.
“Water has been leaking from this spot, and it runs down Peachtree Road, and turns to Sardis Way to Roswell Road for the last few months,” he wrote.
Pettignan said the water leak is coming up through the ground and is between the AT&T building and what used to be an IHOP on Peachtree Road and north of the Bank of America located at 3116 Peachtree Road Northeast.
We sent the item to the city and will let you know when the leak is fixed.

Barbara Shapiro wants something done about a confusing road.
“Mason Mill Road dead-ends at LaVista Road. LaVista Road is one lane coming from the west and adds another lane east of Mason Mill. Before the repaving of LaVista, there was a solid line for maybe 15 feet after LaVista crossed Mason Mill.
“Therefore, Mason Mill traffic could and did turn right on red. The repaving removed the solid line, so right turns from Mason Mill risk a collision as some LaVista drivers immediately cut into the right lane. Therefore, Mason Mill backups have gotten much worse,” Shapiro said.
She suggested putting back the solid line or, even better, add a few feet of poles on Clifton Road at Peachtree for Peachtree drivers turning south.
