A woman was taken into custody and a SWAT standoff near Powder Springs ended peacefully Thursday night, Cobb County police said.
Just before 3 p.m., a woman told police she arrived at her Wasilla Way home and found a bullet hole in her wall, Sgt. Dana Pierce with Cobb County police said. While investigating the initial report, officers heard shots fired from another home in the community, off Hiram Lithia Springs Road, Pierce said.
The incident ended peacefully around 9:15 p.m., police spokesman Mike Bowman said.
The woman in custody could be charged with disorderly conduct, he said.
