The Suwanee City Council voted Tuesday to approve the purchase of two police package Dodge 1500 SSV Crew Cab 4x4 pickup trucks. After reviewing three quotes, the city awarded the purchase to Hayes Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep for $26,457 per vehicle.
In addition, the city council voted to authorize the police department to apply for a $10,000 Small Agency Incentive Grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The department will use the funds to purchase four speed detection devices.
