Suwanee approves street resurfacing contract

The Suwanee City Council recently approved a $1,137,399 contract with Allied Paving for patching and resurfacing of 3.8 miles of various city streets.

Streets benefitting from this contract include Brodgon Road, Fleetwood Circle, Maple Terrace Place, Timberlost Trail, Celebration Drive, a portion of Moore Road, Barony Cove, Rocky Peak Drive, White Rock Trail, River Run Lane, a portion of Chattahoochee Run Drive, Paces Lane, Station Way, Lake Point Boulevard, Bend Creek Trail, and Baxley Pine Trail.

The city will pay for a portion of the project using SLPOST funds, with GDOT providing up to $190,018 as part of the 2019 Local Maintenance Improvement Grant program. The project is expected to be complete by Sept.
