The Mall at Stonecrest in south DeKalb County will host six farmers’ markets starting next week.

Locally grown fruits and vegetables will be for sale  each Thursday night, starting Oct. 14. The markets will run until Nov. 18 and are scheduled for 4-8 p.m. in the parking lot between the AMC theater and Kohl’s, said a spokeswoman for the mall.

Mall officials said the market will help provide alternative options for the Stonecrest area, which does not have a grocery store within a three-mile radius.
