Springdale Park earns green recognition

Atlanta's Springdale Park Elementary has earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. This distinction is one of the highest certifications school buildings and campuses can earn. The school recently underwent a $12.1 million energy- efficient renovation and expansion.
