The 19-year-old spring breaker who fell five stories to his death in Panama City Beach, Fla., Wednesday night has been identified as Brandon Ward Kohler of Winder, according to WJHG-TV in Panama City Beach.

Kohler, who attended Winder-Barrow High School and played on the football team, fell onto a concrete surface behind the Holiday Terrace Motel on Front Beach Road just before 8:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

Police Maj. Dave Humphreys told the News Herald newspaper that it was too early to say whether any foul play was involved.

It was Panama City Beach's first fatal balcony fall during spring break since 2008, the newspaper reported.
