Southwest Airlines to sponsor skating rink in Centennial Olympic Park, give away tickets

Southwest Airlines is the newest sponsor of the ice skating rink at Centennial Olympic Park, which opens Saturday, Nov. 19. Publicists for downtown Atlanta's only outdoor ice skating rink said the first 50 visitors on opening day will skate for free, courtesy of the airline. Southwest representatives will be at the rink every Saturday through the end of year, with opportunities to win free roundtrip tickets from Atlanta. Southwest bought AirTran Airways in May and plans to begin service to Denver, Austin, Houston, Baltimore and Chicago in February.
