Southern Poly expands architecture program

Southern Polytechnic State University will offer a master of science in architecture starting fall 2012.

The Marietta college already has a five-year bachelor of architecture professional program.

The new degree, which the State Board of Regents approved this week, will focus on two areas. One concentration will look at sustainable design, digital design and digital communication. The second will cover historic preservation, adaptive reuse and urban infrastructure planning and design.
