Southeast Atlanta Library gets LEED Gold certification

Southeast Atlanta Library has been awarded the LEED Gold Certification developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, Fulton County officials said. Among the project team were 2M Design Consultants Inc., HERRY/RUSSEL JV Team, Stanley Love-Stanley Architects, the Epsten Group Inc., and CD Moody Construction Co.

The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System branch at 1463 Pryor Road. S.W. opened last year as part of Phase I of the Library Capital Plan. The county said each of the ten Phase I library projects have achieved a LEED Silver or a LEED Gold Certification, according to the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design standards.
