Police in south Fulton County are investigating a Monday night home invasion in which a homeowner was pistol-whipped.
The victim was watching television inside his home in the 2700 block of Elkmont Ridge when two armed men kicked in his door, Fulton County police Det. Melissa Parker said.
"A struggle ensued, and the victim was pistol-whipped," Parker said.
She said the homeowner, whose name has not been released, fled to a neighbor's house and called police.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, Parker said.
Police were still trying to determine what was taken from the house, which is in a neighborhood off Cascade Palmetto Highway.
