The Rev. Jasper Williams Jr., known as the "Son of Thunder" for his stirring sermons will celebrate six decades of preaching and his first gospel CD in 20 years with a concert at 7 p.m. tonight  at Salem Bible Church, 2283 Baker Road NW.

Williams started preaching when he was six years old.

His new CD, "Landmark,"  is being released on Church Door Records and includes gospel standards as well as new songs. It features the Salem Bible Church Mass Choir.
