The Smyrna Business Association will host a forum 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Smyrna Community Center, 200 Village Green Circle for candidates seeking office in the Nov. 3 Smyrna elections.
Requiring all to be in writing, questions may be submitted in advance at the door that night or by email to SmyrnaBusiness.org.
Mayoral candidates are Alex Backry, A. Max Bacon and Wade S. Lnenicka.
Ward 1 candidates are Derek Norton and Melleny C. Pritchett.
Ward 3 candidates are Teri Anulewicz and “Bentley” Brandon Bentley.
Ward 4 candidates are Alan Dunn and Charles “Corkey” Welch.
Ward 5 candidates are Jerry Jacobs and Susan D. Wilkinson.
Ward 6 candidates are Tara Simon and Doug Stoner.
Unopposed are Ward 2 Councilwoman Andrea Blustein and Ward 7 Councilman Ron Fennel.
Advance voting is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Oct. 30 at Cobb Elections Main Office, West Park Government Center, 736 Whitlock Ave., Marietta and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 26-30 at Smyrna Community Center, 200 Village Green Circle, Smyrna.
