The Federal Aviation Administration was investigating a small-plane crash Tuesday on St. Simons Island that left the two occupants injured.
The Glynn County Police Department said the single engine Piper PA-32 aircraft crashed into a home on Circle Drive just after 11 a.m.
The homeowners were inside at the time of the crash but were not injured, police said. The Brunswick News reported a block was evacuated due to a gas leak from the plane.
The planes’ two occupants, who were not immediately identified, received minor injuries and were taken to nearby medical facilities in Brunswick for treatment.
