No one was injured when an experimental aircraft crashed Sunday night in Coweta County.
Two people were aboard the N149PG, a Flightstar II, that went down around 7:45 p.m. near Mike Powers Road and Trisha Lane in Grantville, according to Kathleen Bergen with the FAA.
Investigators were working to determine to the cause of the crash, Bergen said. The aircraft sustained substantial damage in the crash, which took place about five miles from Murphy's Landing Airstrip.
