Clayton State University’s Spivey Hall has a few remaining spots in its Summer music camp. The camp provides young singers a chance to work with experienced musicians and perform on the stage of the world-famous Spivey Hall. The camp runs from June 10- June 14, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Registration deadline is Monday. The music camp is for boys and girls who will be in 4th to 7th grade in the 2013/14 school year. Students must be able to sing on pitch. Teacher recommendations are required. Cost is $150 per student, due before Monday’s registration deadline. New members of the Spivey Hall Young Artists program can register for a reduced rate of $125. Discounts are available to families registering multiple students. A late registration fee of $175 per student will be accepted after June 3 on a space-available basis. Make checks to Clayton State University and mail to Spivey Hall with the registration and payment forms, waiver, and music teacher’s recommendation.
