Cobb County police are asking for help in finding a killer.
Sunday, police said they now believe Derrick George Gray, Jr., 22, of Smyrna, was killed July 1 and his body may have been dumped from a silver mid-sized sedan with possible body damage.
Police also released a photo of the victim.
A woman walking the afternoon of July 2 on Circle 75 Parkway, off Windy Hill Road, spotted a shoe on a sidewalk and then a body in nearby woods. Gray's body was found about 300 yards from Windy Hill Road, near I-75, Bowman said.
