Scott appointed chief judge in DeKalb
DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Mark Anthony Scott was appointed chief judge for 2011 and 2012.
Scott, who was elected in 2004, takes over for Judge Cynthia J. Becker.
Scott said the Superior Court judges are on a two-year rotation to handle the chief duties, which include administrative tasks and overseeing the budget.
