School registration deadline approaching
The deadline to file applications for DeKalb County theme schools next school year is Feb. 10.
Applications can be delivered to the Gifted, Magnet and Theme Schools Office at school system headquarters at 1701 Mountain Industrial Blvd., Stone Mountain, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Applicants must produce proof of residence and in some cases a child's birth certificate and report card. Applications can also be filed online. Information: www.dekalb.k12.ga.us.
