School bus hits pole

A school bus hit a pole Friday near Piedmont Park. The Cobb County bus, which was carrying children, was traveling on Piedmont Avenue near the Atlanta Botanical Garden when the incident occurred, according to Atlanta police.

An ambulance from Grady Memorial Hospital was called to check on the passengers. It was not immediately known if there were any injuries.
