The DeKalb County School District has changed the time for Monday's final public hearing on a property tax increase.

The school board has taken one of two required votes to raise the tax rate 1 mill to 23.98 mills, just shy of the 25-mill cap.

The second vote will follow the hearing now scheduled an hour earlier, at 5 p.m., at 1701 Mountain Industrial Boulevard, Stone Mountain.
