Sandy Springs seeks ideas for new park
Sandy Springs residents can help the city plan its new park.
The city wants design ideas for a parcel of land at the northeast corner of Abernathy and Wright roads. The one-acre tract is adjacent to the Abernathy Greenway Park. City officials want residents to prioritize elements of the park that include water features, landscaping, seating , plant beds, grass and shade areas.
Residents have until Feb. 12 to provide their input.
