Sandy Springs will host a community celebration on August 3 as part of National Night Out.

The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hammond Park and features car safety seat checks, information on joining or starting a Neighborhood Watch and a chance to check out the city’s police cars and fire engines.
