Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman -- possibly a medical worker -- suspected of robbing a SunTrust Bank  in Roswell on Wednesday.

Officer Lisa Holland said the woman entered the bank in the 8300 block of Holcomb Bridge Road and presented a note demanding money.

"The suspect indicated that she had a weapon, but did not show one," Holland said. "The teller tried to keep the demand note, but the suspect managed to take it back."

A witness told investigators that the woman got out of a tan or gold compact vehicle, Holland said.

She described the suspect as black woman in her mid-20s, 5-feet-4 to 5-feet-6 inches tall and weighing 120 to 130 pounds. She has dark complexion and was possibly wearing a black, shoulder-length wig. She was dressed in dark pants, a black hoodie and was possibly wearing a nurse's "scrubs" shirt with a white logo on the left side,  Holland said.

She asked that anyone with information on the suspect call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
