Roadwork for Perimeter interchange this weekend

Jan 27, 2012At I-285 and Ashford-Dunwoody Road, a lane is slated to close briefly this weekend for an interchange project there. One westbound right lane of I-285 should close for an hour Saturday around 10 a.m., according to the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts.
Over the following week, some lanes of Ashford Dunwoody Rd. will close overnight, starting at 9 p.m.
The PCID's and the state Department of Transportation are reconfiguring the lanes on the bridge in a new way that they hope will make traffic flow more smoothly.
