The wife of the man accused of raping a woman he abducted filed for divorce.

Christy Jansen of Snellville filed for divorce against David Joseph Jansen in Gwinnett County Superior Court on Friday. The Jansens have been married nearly 25 years.

David Jansen, 46, was arrested late Tuesday night after police say he abducted a woman, drove her to a remote Tennessee cabin and raped her.

A pizza delivery man called police when he saw the woman still tied up. David Jansen, a father of two, was released from jail Thursday night on $800,000 bond.

David Jansen hung up on a reporter when reached on his cell phone Saturday afternoon.

A message left at the Jansens' Holly Brook Cove home near Brookwood High School was not returned.

Christy Jansen also got a restraining order when she filed for divorce, prohibiting David Jansen from coming near her, their two children, or their Snellville home, according to the WXIA web site.

The woman's attorney, Margaret Washburn, could not be reached for comment on Saturday. Her practice is based in Lawrenceville.

"She's terrified. She's devastated," Washburn told WXIA. "This is just beyond belief that he is out with this other woman, consensual or not, rape or not. He's out with another woman."
