Clouds have rolled in and the scattered showers are around to stay, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan says.

Those showers will keep temps near to just above average on Sunday, Monahan said.

Currently, the temperature is 48 degrees in Atlanta.

Rain chances through the week are generally above average, with a 40 percent chance of rain on Monday that increases to an 80 percent chance of rain and storms by Wednesday, Channel 2 reported.

Monday temps are forecast to start in the mid 40s with a high of 60 degrees.

That high rises to a forecast high of 68 degrees on Tuesday, before temps are expected to fall to the mid 50s on Thursday.
