Qualifying underway for candidates for office in Clarkston

The qualifying period has begun for candidates who want to run for office this year in Clarkston.

The city will elect three council members to four-year terms this November. Those wanting to qualify for the election should file a notice with the election superintendent at Clarkston City Hall, 3921 Church St. Qualifying runs through Friday, Sept. 2 and costs $105.
